Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

Strife is operated by Dominic Polihronos (trading as "Strife", referred to as "we", "our", or "us"). This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Strife Premium subscriptions and reflects our freemium business model.

Strife offers a free version of the Service so you can fully evaluate it before deciding to purchase Premium. Purchases of Premium are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all Strife orders.

1. Try Before You Buy

Strife offers a free tier that lets you experience the platform — including core simulation features — before purchasing a Premium subscription. We strongly encourage all users to try the free version first to confirm that Strife meets their needs.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account page, or directly through Paddle at paddle.net.

When you cancel:

  • future billing stops — you will not be charged again,
  • Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period,
  • after that, your account reverts to the free tier.

3. Subscription Fees Are Generally Non-Refundable

Because the free version is available for evaluation and because cancellation prevents all future charges, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once Premium access has been granted, including for partial billing periods that you do not use.

4. When We May Consider a Refund

Refund requests may be considered, at Strife's discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, in situations such as:

  • duplicate charges for the same subscription,
  • billing errors or incorrect amounts charged,
  • unauthorised transactions on your payment method,
  • technical failures that prevent you from using the Service for a meaningful period,
  • other exceptional circumstances we consider fair to address.

We review each request on its own merits. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. How to Request a Refund

Refunds are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. To request a refund:

  • visit paddle.net and use the link in your Paddle order receipt, or
  • contact us at admin@usestrife.io and we will pass the request to Paddle on your behalf.

Please include your order reference (from your Paddle receipt), the email associated with your account, and a short description of the reason for your request.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method used at checkout. The time taken for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

Refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's Refund Policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.

7. Your Statutory Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy is in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence (for example, statutory rights of withdrawal for consumers in the EU/UK). Where applicable law gives you stronger rights, those rights continue to apply.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated last-modified date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
